“Black Sheep” was my second read by Georgette Heyer. Overall it was an enjoyable regency rom-com that I enjoyed. You have your typical characters, but the main ones were different from any I’ve read. If you like particularly sassy characters you’ll enjoy this book. The ending had the typical ending to a regency romance, but i still enjoyed the ride getting there. The only particularly confusing point was keeping track of all the side characters that were only mentioned, not seen (or barely seen). It really was the main characters of Abby and Miles that made this Regency Comedy stand out from others and were able to make it interesting while the narrative hit all the major points of a regency romance.
It took longer than anticipated to read, but was still enjoyable for what I expect from a Regency Romance Comedy.
